We believe that a key to growing downtown is to continue to offer family and kid friendly events that everyone can enjoy. With that in mind we have started our Kid's Activity Zone that will be featured at our downtown events. We will provide kids of all ages the opportunity to play, color, create, craft, design & have fun while enjoying Downtown Owensboro!

Making its debut during 2nd Street FAM JAM this summer, the sidewalk & street chalk art was a huge hit. Kids, families & even some of the older kids (adults / seniors) joined in the party and decorated 2nd Street every Friday. Join us in 2025 at 2nd Street FAM JAM for more great art on the sidewalks & streets of downtown!

We launched the Window Decorating events during the holiday season in 2024 after the success of the Sidewalk & Street Art during 2nd Street FAM JAM this summer. The idea was to move the creativity from the ground to the windows and it was an overwhelming success! We hope to continue this event with quarterly themed window decorating events downtown!
