Small Business Tax Credits & Grants

The Kentucky Small Business Tax Credit program offers between $3,500 and $25,000 per year for small businesses that have:

• Hired and sustained at least one new job 
• Purchased at least $5,000 in equipment or technology

Work Opportunity Tax Credits provide a 1- or 2-yr benefit for hiring employees from a targeted group (up to $10,000 per employee).

KY has an online management system for businesses or consultants to apply for these tax credits.
