Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit is a voluntary, dollar-for-dollar credit toward a property owner's income taxes, based on the cost of rehabilitating a Historic Property.
Rehabilitation expenses must take place within 24-months of approval via state program.
Multiple grants and programs focused on the city’s Northwest Neighborhood, providing funding for residential, commercial & rental opportunities.
Program can be combined with other benefits but is scheduled to expire in 2025.
Capital gains tax-free investing in Downtown Owensboro & Northwest Neighborhoods on investments made prior to 2027 & held 10+ years.
